As we head into the holiday season and you consider your charitable giving for the end of this taxable year, please keep the following in mind.

If you plan on contributing stock or mutual funds to the Catholic Community Foundation, please call our office at 605.988.3777 or 605.988.3788 and let us know. Having this information in advance will help us to efficiently and effectively process your gift. Without donor information, CCFESD will not sell the stock or mutual funds.

 

Key Year-End Dates

Tuesday, December 14 - Submit donor-advised fund distribution recommendations before noon to ensure that your grants are received by the beneficiary.

Wednesday, December 15 - Initiate mutual fund transfers by this date.

Monday, December 20 - Initiate any stock transfers prior to this date so that stock gifts can be received in CCFESD's trading account by December 31st.

Friday, December 31 - Ensure that CCFESD receives any cash gifts at our office by noon. Remember that contributions made by check to CCFESD must be dated and postmarked by the United States Postal Service no later than this date.
