About This Event

The Bishop’s Cup is the longest-running Bishop’s Charity event for our diocese. Established in 1994, this event is held in August of each year on the two most pristine courses in our diocese: The Country Club of Sioux Falls and Minnehaha Country Club. Proceeds from this event benefit Broom Tree Retreat and Conference Center, located near Irene, SD.

Event Includes:

  • 18 holes of golf and carts
  • Chance to participate in the putting contest and other events held on the course
  • Lunch on your assigned course
  • Following play, social and awards program
  • Registration gift
  • Driving range warm-up
  • Opportunities to win prizes
  • 1 ticket to Taste the Goodness, held on the first weekend in August

Help encourage and support new, younger participants in our tournament!

  • Sponsor up to 12 golfers, 35 and under, to participate in the tournament
  • This would allow each of these 12 individuals to register to golf for $100 ($200 discount each)
  • These players would be eligible for all the benefits of an Individual Golfer:
    • 18 holes of golf and carts
    • Chance to participate in the Putting Contest
    • Lunch on your assigned course, social, and awards program at TCCSF
