A MESSAGE FROM CATHOLIC FAMILY SERVICES:
I’m Jerry Klein. On behalf of our team at Catholic Family Services, thank you for your support of this year’s Gift of Hope event, featuring Jennifer Fulwiler. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are joining the efforts of national, regional and local leaders to keep people safe by suspending any “non-essential” public gatherings. As such, the March 21 “GOH event” is canceled. This was a very difficult decision, however but one that seems necessary in this moment.
The Gift of Hope event is the only annual fundraiser in support of the work of Catholic Family Services – which provides counseling, grief and loss programs and pregnancy and adoption services to all who walk in our doors. Your financial support through this event allows us to provide essential services to those who are so desperately in need of hope in their lives – maybe at this moment, more than ever. We are grateful for your generous support – shown through your sponsorship or ticket purchase. We invite you to prayerfully consider converting your sponsorship or ticket purchase to a donation (100% tax deductible) to Catholic Family Services to allow us to continue our work.
We certainly understand and respect that some of you would prefer a refund. On the text below you will find details and a link to our website where you can complete and submit a form for reimbursement. We realize the disappointment that this cancellation will have for many of you. Please be assured that we share your disappointment. We were so looking forward to being together for a night of fellowship and laughter with Jennifer Fulwiler. Let us keep one another and our communities, country and world in our prayers.
