Established in 2001, this annual live concert event features inspiring music from national talent and stories of hope and healing. All proceeds benefit the important and ever-expanding healing work of The Lourdes Center.

The Lourdes Center, formerly known as Catholic Family Services, was established in 1961 by the Catholic Diocese of Sioux Falls. Over the past 60+ years, its programs have continually evolved to meet the ever-changing needs of those they serve. The Lourdes Center is dedicated to providing vital programs and services that support human flourishing during times of grief, uncertainty, and transition.

In the past year alone, The Lourdes Center has experienced significant growth, including a 27% increase in counseling services. They also introduced two new weekend retreats, conducted more than 20 parish and school presentations, and expanded their programming to serve record numbers.

Their offerings include grief support, healing retreats, educational resources and one-on-one counseling. Seeing a need to provide more outreach locations, The Lourdes Center has partnered with school like Bishop O’Gorman Catholic Schools and Newman Centers to provide services to students. However, as demand for services continues to exceed capacity, they are hiring additional staff to meet the growing needs.

The success of the Gift of Hope event is critical to The Lourdes Center’s mission. Funds raised through sponsorships, ticket sales, and donations will directly benefit the Gift of Hope Fund. This fund enables The Lourdes Center to expand its staff, programs, and facilities, ensuring they can continue meeting the ever-growing needs of those they serve.
