Recently, Saint John Paul II School in Mitchell began a Strategic Planning process. The project is being funded thanks to a distribution from the Muth Family Advised Endowment with the Catholic Community Foundation for Eastern SD. 

Dick and Darlene care deeply about Catholic education and St. John Paul II Catholic School, in particular, stating "We couldn't think of a better use of funds than to strengthen the Catholic Education for our youth!" Dick and Darlene are passing on their legacy of faith and love by including their children and grandchildren in the process of selecting projects to be funded with their annual endowment distributions. They work with Nicole Fuhrer, the local Gift Planning Officer with the Foundation to facilitate the process between their family and St. John Paul II School.
