Catholic Schools Week | January 25-31, 2026
Catholic Schools Week is a time to celebrate the faith-filled education that shapes hearts, minds, and futures across the Diocese of Sioux Falls. Our Catholic schools do more than teach academics—they form disciples, nurture virtue, and prepare students to live lives rooted in Christ. The impact of this mission is felt not only in classrooms today, but for generations to come.
Donors play a vital role in sustaining the schools that mean the most to them. Through the Catholic Community Foundation for Eastern South Dakota, individuals and families can support Catholic education in meaningful and lasting ways—whether by establishing an endowment, including a school in their estate plans, or recommending grants through a donor-advised fund. In 2025, the Catholic Community Foundation for Eastern South Dakota distributed more than $970,000 to Catholic schools across the Diocese of Sioux Falls. Each gift reflects a personal commitment to faith, excellence, and the future of Catholic education.
The Foundation is grateful to walk alongside donors and Catholic schools throughout the Diocese, connecting generosity with mission. In addition to donor-directed giving, we are honored to support Catholic schools through our competitive grant program, helping address needs today while strengthening tomorrow. During Catholic Schools Week, we give thanks for our schools, our donors, and the shared belief that investing in Catholic education is an investment in faith, family, and community.
