Enjoy an evening of beautiful music and moving storytelling as we celebrate the hope and joy of God’s incarnation at this year’s Christmas at the Cathedral performance! This year’s theme, “Go in Peace,” is a first-hand account of the monumental events surrounding Jesus’ birth and His miraculous mission and impact, as experienced by Simeon and Anna. Simeon, who was told that he would not die until he saw the Messiah, and Anna, who prayed night and day in the temple, persevered in faith.

Christmas at the Cathedral benefits the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House, as well as the ongoing care of the Cathedral of St. Joseph, one of the region’s most significant civic and sacred landmarks. Christmas is not just an historical event or celebration, it is something that happens within each of us every moment of every day. Join us for this truly memorable event!

*An American Sign Language interpreter will be available at the 1:00pm performance on Saturday, Dec. 14.

General Volunteer and/or Cookie Donation | Wednesday Evening

Each year, we invite guests of the Bishop Dudley Hospitality House, St. Francis House, The Banquet, and other honored guests to join us for a special Christmas celebration. Guests will be treated to dinner, followed by a viewing of this year’s Christmas at the Cathedral performance, and the evening will conclude with a cookie and hot cocoa reception. To make this possible, we need volunteers to help run this event and to donate cookies.

- Please deliver in a disposable container to the Chancery building, 523 N. Duluth Ave, Sioux Falls (please ring bell to enter).
