The Gift of Hope Concert was a beautiful evening of faith, music, and inspiration, inviting attendees to reflect on the power of hope in the midst of life’s challenges. Held on February 6 at St. Michael Parish in Sioux Falls, the candlelit concert created a peaceful and prayerful space where music and stories of healing came together to draw hearts into worship and a deeper awareness of the power of God’s desire to heal all who come to him.

The evening featured a special acoustic candlelight performance by Matt Maher, whose heartfelt songs drew the audience into a lively evening of both music and worship. Known for beloved worship songs such as Lord, I Need You and Because He Lives (Amen), Maher’s stripped-down acoustic set created an intimate atmosphere that allowed the beauty and message of each song to shine.

The concert also included a moving time of sharing from Mary Weber, a counselor at The Lourdes Center. In her remarks, Weber spoke about the mission of The Lourdes Center to accompany individuals and families through counseling rooted in the Catholic understanding of the human person. She shared stories of the real and growing need for compassionate support in the community and the hope that faithful counseling can bring to those who are struggling.

During the evening, attendees also heard an exciting update about the future of The Lourdes Center. As demand for services continues to grow, they are currently raising funds to build a new standalone office space that will allow them to expand their impact and serve even more individuals seeking healing and hope. Proceeds from the evening supported the Lourdes Center Gift of Hope Fund, which helps ensure that counseling services remain accessible to those in need. Through the generosity of supporters and the shared experience of prayerful music and inspiration, the Gift of Hope Concert served as a powerful reminder that hope and healing is never out of reach!

Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and helped make this special evening possible!
